After the Ecoteam successfully completed the last Environmental Education & Eco Club sessions of the second batch until the end of January, we immediately started conducting the third session.
While the second session mainly dealt with the importance of recycling especially focussing on plastic recycling, the third session is intended to explain climate change. Therefore it covers not only all technical terms that are relevant to the topic (e.g. "carbon footprint" or "greenhouse effect") but also introduces future technologies such as several renewable energy sources. In order to make the session more descriptive and interactive the Ecoteam adopted modern teaching methods, i.e. the media use was intensified which enabled the students to participate more actively throughout the course of the session.
