Vision Statement

To create an environmental friendly society which can actively get involved in Environmental Education.

Key Topics: Waste Management, Human Impact on the Environment, Ways of Protecting the Environment

Mission Priorities

By involving Foreign volunteers, local Community and the government body to participate in activities like Awareness, Conservation, Education, Segregation, Community participation, Solid waste management, Sustainability, recycling, Income generating, etc.

1. Increase awareness and participation on protecting the environment in Schools.

• School Sessions run continuously, one day each week, during the school year
• Summer Camps held during the holidays (bringing multiple schools together or in one school, held for Youth groups, etc)

2. Implement efficient solid waste management.

• Compost pits
• Eco street.
• Segregation of plastic/ metal and glass
• Gujiri man.
• Any other ways of recycling.

3. Reduce the use of plastic in the community.

• Cotton bag actions involving churches and temples
• Cotton bag actions targeting the Kharvi Keri fishing community
• Shop owner support by not using thin plastic bags

4. Improve ties and communication with the community on Ecological problems and conservation

• Improved communication with the municipality
• Improved communication with Self Help Groups and other NGOs
• Improved advertisements against plastic around Kundapur
• Motivation on community participation in ecological conservation activities and all other activities which are related to ecology.
