College Session in Navunda

Paul teaching the pupils about the dangers of global warming
On Tuesday, March 5th, the Eco Team conducted another College Session in Navunda, visiting Richard Almeida Memorial College for the first time. Prasan Pai, principal, was of great support to the team being a volunteer himself: he is 10 years past his retirement age now, yet managing two colleges in his spare time.

During the session, in which 5 of the facility's lecturers as well as 25 BBM-scholars took part, the team dealt with topics like "Fossil Fuels", "Waste Management" and "Environmental Awareness & Care in Europe". Towards the end of the session, the team lead an open discussion about the differences between the Indian and German culture, which was enjoyed by Volunteers and students  alike.

It was a great day for the team and another step towards a healthier environment on the outskirts of Kundapur.

In this session, the team did not really need Basu to translate their content

Nevertheless, he still contributed with examples from his hometown, Hubli
