On 4th of July 2013, Eco-team , LTV new volunteers and Kundapur FSL staff went to RC Primary
School in Margolli to celebrate Vanamahotsava with the 203 pupils and
with their teachers. The day begun with a short speech of two members
of FSL (Mr. Godfrey and Mr. Austin), the headmistress (Mrs Leena D
Souza), and one of the volunteers Ms. Anne Sophie from Germany.
Speakers talked about the importance to organized this kind of
action, importance of trees, inter-relationship
between trees and human, also gave small talk about green house
effect etc....

After the stage program we planted plants in school surrounding, we divide students in 5 groups to plant trees with volunteers and staff members of FSL in the playground. Finally 30 young plants have been planted this day, such as mango trees, cashew trees, Neema plants, Red sandal plants, Sagovani plants, Christmas trees, Vitamin trees and Sweet amte plants.To finish this day we took a group picture and distributed sweets to pupils. It was a great day for RC Primary School Margoli and Eco Team members.
