On Thursday, 4th of April 2013, the Ecoteam along with Basu and Austin from the staff went to Govt. operated "Centre of Agricultural Research" in the vicinity of Brahmavara.
"The object of the center is to help the farmers of this area. It is working on this direction taking into consideration, the resources of the center and also the farmers and suggest them scientific solutions to the problems. It also provides training in modernization of agriculture." (Source).

The team was led about the premises and got insight on most of the center's activities. From Papayas to Cashew, many things are grown on an area of more than 115.03 hectares. The team also got to see the poultry and dairy sections of the farm.
It was a very inspiring visit for the entire team and a great opportunity for strengthening cooperation with the institution. We'd be happy to come around again!
