On the 26th of March, the Ecoteam along
with Basu and Julia visited professor Upadya, a retired professor of
zoology. Being a dedicated birder and nature photographer, we hoped
for his support for planned awareness rising events dealing with
Malyadi Bird Sanctuary.
Prof. Upadya and his wife greeted us
with warm heartiness. As the saying goes: in India, guests are
treated like gods!
The pictures made by Prof. Upadya show
much proficiency and are witnesses of his respect for the nature.
Readily he declared his willingness to provide us his photographies
for intended publications. Proving his knowledge about the motives
right on the spot, he is also ready to help us with his expertise on
upcoming events.
