Bringing out Voluntarism in the Community

According Chris Ebenezer : “ Voluntarism proves that in every straining there is a training, in every training there is leaning and in every leaning, there is an earning.”  

FSL-India, Eco-team had a presentation on bringing out voluntarism in the community for that, we had presentation in various colleges, high schools, and youth clubs. Presentation begins with why should be a volunteer, Volunteers helps needy people, we know that it´s easier too just ignore all the Problems around us, that is not a solution. Care about them. Care about your fellow man. Care about your natural Environment.  because volunteers are people who cares about there fellow citizen !

As a international voluntary organisation, we had experiences and We know the feeling of voluntarism, Most of the people don´t realize how voluntarism is effect full, If everyone would spend a little bit of their time it can be helpful for the betterment of world. Volunteers are an example for other people to change there habitat.

 

We Conducted presentation in 3 colleges, 3 high schools, 6 youth clubs, total 816 participants are benefited and took a part in International coastal clean-up day as volunteer which was held on 21st September 2013, We clean up 30 km seashore of Udupi district.

Colleges:

• Beary's College :- Participants of student is 82 NSS and 7 lectures.

• Laxmi Soma Bangera Government first grade college Kota-Padukere : 100 student and 4 lectures Participated.

• Sri Sharada College Basrur :- 150 students and 2 lectures Participated.

Schools:

• Beejadi High school: 96 and 3 teachers Participated

• Governmental High school Navunda 90 students and 5 teachers Participated

• S.V English medium school : 200 students and 5 teachers Participated.

Youth clubs at Gangolli :

• Jettigeswara youth club.

• Ambetkar youth club.

• Ragavendra, youth club.

• Gurujyothi youth club.

• Panchagangavali youth club.

• Fisherman society Gangolli .
